5th INTERNATIONAL STUDENT COMPETITION IN MAKING OF AN E-BIKE

Power Engineering Laboratory at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science - University of Maribor organizes annualy the International student competition in making of an electric bicycle.

The main purpose of the competition is to encourage students to be innovative, strengthen cooperation at the national and international levels, and to enable young people the spread of practical experience and job skills.

You are kindly invited to participate in the 5th international competition in making of an electric bicycle. The competition will take place within the International Expert Meeting Power Engineering that will be held between May 9th and 13th, 2016.

Its main purpose is to encourage students to be innovative, exchange and share practical experiences and job skills, and to strengthen their cooperation at the national and international levels.
The competition will be carried out in road and open E-bike categories. Competition will consist of three racing disciplines: overcoming the distance, overcoming the slope and testing the driving skills on polygon. Furthermore, the innovative technical solutions and the amount of funds spent will be assessed as well.
